Hello, my name is Fadzie Kativhu I am a Qualified Social Worker and the co-founder of ‘The Empowerment Brunch’. I am a graduate of Sheffield University, where I studied a BA Education, Culture & Childhood before recently graduating from Coventry University, where I earned my Masters in Social Work. Alongside my degrees, I have spent time building Empowered By Vee with my sister. My role as managing director helped me gain a deeper understanding of the issues of empowerment among young people.

Prior to qualifying as a Social Worker I faced some challenges, barriers and rejection when I was trying to figure out a career pathway and my purpose in life. My motivation for creating ‘The Empowerment Brunch’ is to provide others with the support and guidance that I wish I had access to during my journey.

Having recently made the decision to resign from my role as a social worker due to a lack of work-life balance, I am now embarked on a mission to construct my dream career. My motivation for creating The Empowerment Brunch was driven by the desire to inspire others to prioritise themselves and embark on the journey towards realising their envisioned highest selves.

In this new chapter, I am not just chasing dreams but creating them. As the founder of a business dedicated to empowering women, I want to serve as an inspiration for others to be bold and prioritise their well-being. Through workshops, mentorship, and a focus on individual goals, I want to encourage women to embrace their journeys, always putting themselves first.
